Thizama, March 5 (MExN): An ‘Awareness programme cum Loan Mela’ was conducted with women groups at Children’s Park, Thizama on February 28.
The programme was organised by District Level Centre for women – Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK), Kohima in collaboration with National Minorities Development and Finance Cooperation under Nagaland State Social Welfare Board (NSSWB).
Kesoneinuo Kense - District Coordinator MSK chaired the programme, which was attended by more than 20 people, the organisers informed on Thursday. Various women centric schemes under NSSWB were presented by Vikeduozo Sorhie - District Coordinator MSK.
Microfinance scheme was explained by Asalie Alex Kruse —NSSWB. He elaborated the procedures for application and eligible criteria for beneficiaries of microfinance.
