Kohima, March 1 (MExN): The Phek district administration and District level Centre for Women Mahila Shakti Kendra Phek visited New Creation School, Sekrezu town on February 25 in order to create awareness towards educating the girl child.
Under BBBP around 240 students were supported in handicrafts training like weaving and basket making.
The programme was chaired by Vesonu Vasa. Rev. Vekuso Swuro, Principal New Creation School, Sekhrezu acknowledged and appreciated Phek district administration and MSK team for their contribution towards the holistic development of the school.
Vilenuo Kapu, Women Welfare Officer DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Phek highlighted BBBP activities conducted in Phek district.
She also encouraged the students to achieve greater heights and continue spreading positive ripple effect for the society.
