Medziphema, September 8 (MExN): The Medziphema Town Chamber of Commerce (MTCC) extended its heartfelt condolences to the families of the six victims who tragically lost their lives in a landslide that struck Pherima on the night of September 3. Several others were injured in the disaster.
In a press release, the MTCC expressed its prayers for eternal peace for the departed souls and strength for the bereaved families to cope with their loss.
The MTCC also urged the state government to provide financial assistance to the affected families and compensate the business community of Pherima, who suffered losses due to the landslide, calling for justice in the wake of the tragedy.
The statement was issued by MTCC President Gohu Angami and General Secretary Visielhoulie Kuotsu.
