Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The General Secretary of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim Th Muivah has on behalf of the NSCN expressed deep appreciation to Viswema village for what he described as the “warmth and large heartedness” with which the village welcomed him and his team at such a short notice. “We are overwhelmed and we cannot repay you back for the kindness extended to me and my entourage at this crucial time when our nation is facing enormous challenge from the forces that have scant respect for our rights and our existence as a nation”, stated Muivah in a note received here.
The NSCN General Secretary also stated that they were “reminded of the contribution to the national cause by the Angami people under the leadership of AZ Phizo” and that Viswema village certainly did not lack behind in their concern for the Naga issue. “I remain steadfast in my commitment and I will uplift and remain true to the cause that is dear to my people”, Muivah stated while adding that the “sojourn” to Viswema village was “definitely within the plan and purpose of the Almighty”. “May the good God bless your village for the exceptional hospitality, support and sustenance given to us since May 5, 2010”, Muivah stated in his appreciation note.
