Dimapur: Dubbing NSCN-IM leader Thuingaleng Muivah an Indian sponsored terrorist, Alan, an assistant secretary in the FGN hierarchy today stated in a press release that the NSCN General Secretary, in the recent meeting with Indian leaders led by Oscar Fernandes, had pronounced that “he stands for Suisa’s proposal by expressing he had taken a positive and bold decision to seek a close Federal relationship with India.”

Alan further said that in the past, Muivah had always denied that he and his group stood for Suisa’s proposal. “Therefore, it is crystal clear that by now that Muivah group (has been) fighting against their own Naga brothers since 1980 in the interest of India and its security concern,” the release said.

The NSCN (IM) has also been accused of having killed more than three thousand Nagas. Even after the so-called ceasefire with the Indian Army since 1997, they have killed more than three hundred, Alan stated.

While terming the recent killing of three NSCN cadres and two others by Meghalaya Police as ‘a sad thing for all Nagas,’ the assistant secretary stated that the killing of Nagas by the NSCN (IM) or Indian armed forces results to the same “because no one will project that the killing of Nagas by Indian armed forces is wrong and the killing of Nagas by Muivah group is right.”
