Murry returns to NPF fold

Dimapur, January 4 (MExN): Former Minister Dr. Chumben Murry on Thursday announced that he has resigned from both primary and active membership of NDPP as well as from all responsibilities in the party to rejoin his earlier party, the NPF w.e.f January 2, 2018. “The decision to this effect was taken in view of the reconciliation that has taken place within the NPF family and in the hope that the unified party can better facilitate for ‘Naga Solution,’” Dr. Murry said in a statement released to the media. “If election is held before "solution", the unified party can now move on to provide stable government which the Nagas need most at this juncture,” the statement added.
