Morung Express News Mokokchung | October 29 A new music school was launched today in Mokokchung located near Dilong Government High School. The music school, Jentir Academy of Music (JAM), offering courses on guitar, keyboards and drums was inaugurated in the presence of family, friends and well wishers with I. Temsu Jamir, vice president of Mokokchung District Art & Culture (MDACC) as special guest. JAM is affiliated to Hillspraise Music Academy under the tutelage of Sangpolong Jentir, a young musician and trained artiste. Sangpolong was awarded in 2014 the ‘East India Topper’ certificate by the Rockschool International Music and Performance Arts Exam Board. His talent has also been mentored by noted guitar maestros including renowned American guitarist Vinnie Moore. Admission to JAM is open throughout the year for all age groups for any genre.
