Dimapur, April 25 (MExN): A music video album in aid of John Mission Ministry titled “Naro Tajung” has been released today at Sinai Café, D.C Court Junction, Dimapur. Composer, songwriter and singer Yanger Aier, is the artiste of the album. Yanger Aier is also a pastor and the Director of John Mission Missionary, a ministry aimed at hostel ministering for youths.
Akumla Aier, BDO Wokha, chief guest for the release was all praise for the video album. She said that Music has no boundaries and going through the album, she felt that it can definitely help every listener regardless of different religion. She also said that she found new concepts in the video album and urged young artistes to emulate and incorporate the same in their albums. “Music artistes should be open to all kinds of experiments. One can have talent, but no idea,” Akumla said.
“If I have to make a speech on music, I can go on and on” said guest of honour, Meren Jamir, proprietor of Studio Strings. He also said that the highlight of music was to achieve what one desires, and that is to praise and glorify God through one’s talents. He expressed hope that the video album would prove to be an aspiration for the younger generation in Nagaland.
Rose Imti, Managing Director NIDC while stating the welcome address also shared that if we want a cleaner, better Nagaland, then we need to start nurturing the youths today. The compere for the programme was I Watila Rashmi. Special numbers were presented by Moa & Imli, and Alino. Invocation was led by Imna Imchen, principal RBC and dedicatory prayer by Pastor Parmenas, City Faith Church. The video album is priced at Rs. 160.
