Dimapur, January 4 (MExN): The Muslim Council Dimapur (MCD) has informed all Muslins of Nagaland that the Haj Committee of India has conveyed that the process of Haj application for 2017 has started from January 2, 2017 and the last date of submission of filled up application by the N.E joint Haj committee is January 24, 2017.
Anyone intending to go to Haj Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia under Nagaland quota has been requested to contact the MCD's Haj Religious Affairs subcommittee for any assistance. The subcommittee has A. Hannan Tapadar (also member of N.E Haj Committee), Moulana Elias Ahmed, Jamal Uddin, Kurban Ahmed, Abu Tanvir and Nashir Hussain.
A. Rahman, Working President of MCD informed that the Haj application forms can also be downloaded from hajcommittee.gov.in. The applicants must have a valid Indian Passport issued on or before 24-1-2017 or a passport valid at least up to 28-2-2018.
