‘My Tribute’- an evening of classical music designed especially for the folks of Wokha will be the first classical concert to be in their place. The four young men behind the show are - Albert Kanken Odyuo, Normando Villas, Mhathung Odyuo, and Mharhomo Kithan. They all came together with the desire to promote classical music and inspire young people in the district to pursue classical music. Unlike Dimapur and Kohima, where lovers of classical music are exposed to good music all year round, it is unfortunate that the same is not true in other districts, the organisers expressed. The concert will be held at Don Bosco Youth Center on June 24, at 6:00 pm. The aim of the organizers of the concert is to promote and strengthen music education, rather than profit, and for this reason the tickets are priced relatively low at Rs 200, and Rs 300.
