Myki, Nagaland launched a programme for distribution of umbrellas to women vegetable vendors on September 25.

R Khing, Advisor, Women Resource Development and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Service graced the launching ceremony and distributed umbrellas as well as masks to the women vegetable vendors at High School Junction.

Anenla T Sato, Commissioner and Secretary for Women Resources Development said that the distribution of umbrellas to women vegetable vendors will be taken up in a phase-wise manner across the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Khing appreciated the efforts of women in various aspects and assured that the department will continue to help women vegetable vendors in every possible way.
