MyNEP competition: Nagaland BJP call for mass participation

Nagaland state BJP is inviting mass participation of people from Nagaland in the forthcoming Vidya Bharati # MyNEP Competition.

This competition is part of the nation-wide awareness campaign on the recently unveiled new National Education Policy.

We are targeting the participation of one lakh people from Nagaland for this competition, said Nagaland state BJP secretary Lanuakum O while addressing a press conference here today.

Nagaland state BJP co-chief spokesperson Nini Cheng said that MyNEP competition will be held on four sub-themes- India-Centric Education, Holistic Education, Knowledge-Based Society and Quality Education.

The competition will be held in 13 languages. Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Asameya, Punjabi, Odiya, Bengali and Sanskrit.

All work will be done through a website www.mynep.in and the participant’s own social media handle (facebook, instagram, Twitter, YouTube and mobile number/email etc).

She said that there will be three category for the competition. Class 9 to 12, UG & PG students and citizens. Each category has online quiz and 5-5 competitions.

Each group, competition and language (Selected 13 languages) will receive first, second and third prizes and 10 special prizes.

The event will be inaugurated on September 11. From then on September 24 to online quiz, registration and posting content for the competition from 25 September (Deendayal Jayanti) to 2nd October (Gandhi Jayanti).

Result will be announced by October 5.

For participation, visit www.mynep.in and submit entries in respective competitions from September 25 to October 2.

Category wise competitions

Class 9-12: 2 minute speech, Handmade poster competition, Letter to PM, 300 words essay, Meme making.

UG & PG Students/Citizen’s category: Short film (not more than 2.20 minutes), Digital poster making, Painting/Handmade poster, Minimum 8 tweet thread, Meme making
 
Interactive quiz: The quiz will be derived/based on the videos and text module available at the website, Users will be awarded with certificates for attempting/participating in the NEP quiz, Certificates can be customized and downloaded. Also post on social media.
 
NEP pledge for schools /colleges/institutions: A bright opportunity for institutions to make themselves as NPE supportive school; By taking the NEP pledge, institutions will commit to adopting NEP and ensure Bharat Centric Education, holistic education, knowledge based society and quality education to their students; A customized letter can be downloaded from website in the name of the institution.
 
NEP ambassadors: Anyone can apply to become NEP Ambassador through MyNEP website; Registered ambassadors to be awarded with E-Certificates; NEP ambassadors will be given certain tasks for social media promotion of this competition. For example, repost/share minimum 10 posts from NEP handlers, make a small video appealing, your friends on SM to participate in this competition etc.
 
Prizes: 
•    National prize 1, 2, 3 and 10 special mentions
•    Prize Money: Rs. 10,000, Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively
•    Special mentions: Rs. 1000 each
•    Language wise prize in each competition
•    Prizes in each category
