In another development, Mizoram MLA, Dr K Pachhuunga has written to the President Ram Nath Kovind calling for “free and fair” investigation of the case. In the letter, Dr Pachhunga, who represents 33 Lunglei South Assembly Constituency, termed the incident not only unfortunate but also a cause of concern that a military service woman met such an end “in the vicinity of where she was posted.”
