Kohima: National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Peer Team would be visiting Nagaland University (Central University) from May 5 to 10, 2014.
The notification issued by Registrar, Nagaland University, T. Lanusosang on 10th April, 2014 the committee has set up for necessary arrangements for the documents for Peer Team’s visit headed by Professor Mithilesh Kumar Sinha, I/c Planning Cell, Nagaland University.
The Peer Team would hold separate meeting with faculty members, research scholars, students and non-teaching staff which would assess its “Strength and Weaknesses” in the respective sections within the University.
NAAC is an Autonomous Institution of the University Grants Commission that seeks to make the process of assessment a holistic, systematic, and transparent experience, based on data, which can contribute to institutional improvement. The philosophy of NAAC peer team is to carry out an objective assessment of the quality of education with excellence offered in the Higher Education Institution (HEI) based on mutual trust.
