Dimapur, February 12 (MExN): The NAAC Peer Team visited Immanuel College for the 2nd cycle of re-accreditation on February 10 and 11. The Three-Member NAAC Peer Team comprised of Dr Radhakrishnan PK, former Vice Chancellor, University of Kerala, (Chairperson of the Team), Dr Jangkhongam Doungel,  Professor, University of Mizoram, Aizawl (Member Coordinator), Dr Tehmina Yousuf, Principal, Government Degree College, Thindim Kreeri. 

During the visit, the Head and Convenors of all the departments and committees presented their last five years reports of the activities carried out under their initiatives. The NAAC Peer Team also visited and reviewed the facilities available in the institute. A cultural event was also organised by the students of the College under the theme ‘cultural diversity.’

The two-day visit concluded with an exit meeting on February 11. Chairperson of the NAAC Peer Team Dr Radhakrishnan P K gave his observation and hearten the fraternity of the College as he hoped that the implementation of the recommendation would enabled the college to flourish in the coming years and gave his best wishes to the college for their future endeavours. 

Various representatives present during the interaction with the NAAC Peer team included University representative: Prof VK  Vidyarthi, Dean of SET, NU; State Government representative: Dr M Libanthing Ngullie, Principal Dimapur Government College; Dr RK Behera, Principal, Livingstone Foundation International College, Dimapur; and Dr TJamedi Longkumer, External Expert, IQAC.
