Dimapur, October 7 (MExN): Nagaland Alliance for Children and Women Rights (NACWR) has stated that it is deeply disturbed by the allegations of serious sexual abuse against minors by Robert Kikon, the former Senior Pastor of the Father’s House Church.
“We unequivocally condemn this heinous crime and demand the Kikon be charged under Section 21 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence (POCSO) Act,” the NACWR demanded in its press release.
It said that such acts of violence are abhorrent and have no place in our society. The NACWR also called for swift justice, including the protection, rescue, and rehabilitation of the victims. “We urge the authorities to ensure a fair and timely trial,” it stated.
“Our hearts go out to the victims and their families, who are undoubtedly suffering immense trauma. We stand in solidarity with them and demand that their voices be heard and their rights upheld,” NACWR added.
