Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President, JP Nadda virtually inaugurated Nagaland BJP office building at Upper Agri Colony, Kohima on November 14.

In his virtual address, Nadda said that the BJP aim to construct BJP office building in all the state headquarters and districts in the country.

Today’s inauguration of BJP office building in Kohima is the 237th of its kind on the country.

He called upon the people to join BJP for progress and prosperity.

He informed that BJP is the largest political party in the world.

He thanked Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton and state BJP president Temjen Imna Along for expanding the base of BJP in Nagaland.

He was hopeful that BJP Nagaland will go beyond the target of 4 lakh enrolment of members in the current membership drive exercise.

Nagaland BJP 2 storey office building has a conference hall with 500 seating capacity.

In his presence at the inaugural function in Kohima, Union minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last 8 years has provided space for comfortable and platform for our uplift of the citizens in all sectors.

Now, India has become one of the most powerful nations in the world, he said adding that Modi play an important role in the global scenario in many aspects.

Sambit Patra, National BJP spokesperson and coordinator North East states said that Modi has visited North East more than 56 times in eight years, adding that he has concern for the growth and development of the north eastern states.

Shiv Prakash, national BJP joint general secretary (Org) also spoke at the programme.

Nagaland state BJP president Temjen Imna Along said that “today is a very momentous day for BJP in Nagaland state.”
We have our own BJP home and office building now, he said and assured for construction of more buildings to house BJP functionaries in the state.

Vote of thanks was pronounced by Kevidezo Peter Rutsa. S Phangnon Konyak, MP Rajya Sabha from Nagaland was also present at the programme.
