As part of Shure Influencer programme, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio today handed over Shure musical equipment to some of the Naga artists at a function held at Chief Minister's Residential Complex, Kohima.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Rio encouraged the Naga artists to be the real influencer and ‘make music as one of our strength.’ “We should not only stick to singing other songs,” he said and challenged the musicians to grow further and excel. However, one hindrance is that there is lack of market, he lamented. “We have to really excel and make it big so that we can get market,” Rio said. The CM also stressed on the need to make music as one of the important agent to generate economy.
