Winners of the TDFA Cup 2022.
TUENSANG, DECEMBER 12 (MExN): Naga Brothers FC emerged victorious in the final of the Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) Cup after defeating 11 Wolves FC by a score margin of 2-1. Hanglen Chang and Beshang Chang scored the goals for the champions while a consolation goal for 11 Wolves FC by Likokmong Sangtam came through a penalty in the last kick of the match.
In the closing ceremony, Lohuo Besü, Chief Manager, SBI Tuensang graced the occasion as the Special Guest on December 12 at Loyem Memorial Astro Turf Ground in Tuensang.
In the programme, Benei M Lamthiu, Advisor TDFA & General Secretary, Nagaland Football Association was also present to deliver a short speech.
The winner walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 1,00,000/-, trophy, medals and certificates. Runners-up received cash prize of Rs. 50,000/-, certificates and medals.
Referee Board, Tuensang under TDFA also awarded certificates to 15 referees on the completion of their training, after clearing their physical test and written examination.
They were Changsang Somba, Mono K, Pukho L, Ningpao, P Thungpang Chang, Chingnyem Chuba, M Pushu, N KhoniYemjong Chang, C YentinOngbou Chang, Y Changsang, LongyanglembaLomou, T Yentin, Binyemjong Chang, MukomKhimaniungan and Bukeu S Chang.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Mercy Chang and the invocation prayer was pronounced by Yangten, Pastor, Nagamese Baptist Church, Tuensang.
Welcome address was delivered by Lakiumong, Organising Committee, TDFA and vote of thanks by Yangdipi Sangtam, President, TDFA.

Golden Boot – Khumba of WinzigKonigz FC (10 goals)
Best midfielder – Moatemjen Chang of Hooligans FC
Best defender – Likokmong Sangtam of 11 Wolves FC
Best goalkeeper – Khakuzi M Ao of 11 Wolves FC
Player of the tournament – Hanglen Chang of Naga Brothers FC
