Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF), Dibrugarh family celebrated the Pre-Christmas at Naga Patient House, Dibrugarh on November3.

Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF), Dibrugarh family today celebrated the Pre-Christmas at Naga Patient House, Dibrugarh. 


NCFD Pastor Dr. Bendangwati Jamir while sharing the message impressed upon the believers that the kingdom of Christ is "build on the hearts of everyone with a selfless love and one that is boundless." He said that it is a kingdom not confined without military protection or confined to a race, territorial boundaries and no national treasures of gold and silver.


He referred to the birth of Jesus as one where anyone hardly took notice and his ministry as a rejection yet only flocked to see him perform and receive miracles and drifted away when the time came to arrest him. "But even now, when Jesus knocks  our hearts, we pushes him away and rather try to keep our decorations and warmth inside our houses. In reality many people donot have room for Jesus. 


Today, our subject of spirituality and Christmas to be compassionate and help homeless, poor and hungry people. 
"Christmas is about the birth of Jesus who leaves a perfection of heaven and to enter into our fallen world of utter humiliation. The birth of Jesus shows us an almighty God searching for humankind in a form of servant king," the pastor added.


"Even if we don't see him in our midst, we can still do good works when we help our neighbours, it is incomplete without remembering them."


Earlier, Dr. Akhono, Asst. Professor Dibrugarh University chaired the programme and Samuel delivered the welcome address. 


Lhiwepe Therie and Keneiseno Neihu, Research scholars at Dibrugarh University compered the second session. The evening extravaganza saw Carol singing competition, cake cutting, talent explosion and Lucky draw.
