Mokokchung, August 12 (MExN): “Naga Christians are caught in between the debate of Right versus Truth and unfortunately Naga Christians are more inclined towards rights,” observed Rev. Dr. N. Tzudir Pastor, Dimapur Ao Baptist Church.
A press release stated that addressing the Clark Theological College (CTC) 45th Foundation Day on August 10, Rev. Dr. N. Tzudir Pastor, who is also an alumnus of the College said that “Nagas have accepted Christianity as Religion and not Jesus Christ as our Personal Saviour and because of which, when faced with challenges from within and without, we are blown away.”
Rev. Tzudir challenged the gathering by saying that the signs of our times demand us to once again reaffirm our foundation in the Holy Scripture which is the Word of God and which only can help us to identify and clearly differentiate the difference between rights and truth.
The Pastor concluded by saying that we as Christians, as followers of Jesus Christ we need to side with the “truth” which is our Lord Jesus Christ and follow his teaching courageously because “only” the truth well set us free and not the “right.”
