Along Longkumer (left) and Matsung Ozukum (right) training out of the Combat Academy (Coached by Khriemelie Metha) Nagaland, represented the state of Nagaland at the All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation (AIMMAF) India amateur nationals. They fought 2 elimination bouts on May 13 to reach the finals and on May 14, Along won gold in the bantamweight (61kg) division for Nagaland via a unanimous decision. Meanwhile Matsung in the straw weight (52kgs) division won gold by way of submission through a rear naked choke in the 3rd round.
