Naga girl found in Siliguri

Dimapur, June 19 (MExN): A Naga girl who was found stranded at Ghanpur Railway Station in West Bengal is reportedly undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Siliguri.   According to IGP Robin Hibu, Nodal Officer for North East People, Delhi, the girl was traveling from Dimapur to West Bengal. “On her way she was fooled by some fraudster at Guwahati, who promised to take care of her in West Bengal,” stated Hibu in a post on the Facebook page Delhi Police for North East Folks.   Hibu further informed that the emergency doctor attending to the victim said she is too weak to speak, but out of danger.   Some Good Samaritan had brought the girl to the hospital, the post said, adding doctors and police are on to find out the details of her health/injuries and sequence of events.   The parents of the girl have been informed and are on their way, it added.
