Kohima, May 9 (MExN): The first General Secretary of the Naga Hoho (1998 to 2001) Vihuto Yepthomi died on the morning of May 9 after a prolong illness.
“He was one of the pioneers in the formation and the making of Naga Hoho today,” stated a condolence message issued by the Naga Hoho President HK Zhimomi.
Late Yepthomi dedicated his entire life for the service of the people as well as the society and is a perfect example to follow and learn a lesson, it said.
Mourning the death of a fatherly figure to the Naga people, the Naga Hoho further noted that in Yepthomi’s demise, the Nagas have not only lost an honest but a decent senior citizen who never hesitated to help and promote the welfare of the Naga people till his last breath.
The entire Naga populace pays tributes to late Yepthomi for the life that he has led and leading the Nagas towards attaining their rightful place, it added.
The Naga Hoho extended its sincere and deepest condolences to the near and dear ones of late Yepthomi and prayed that the Almighty God grant them solace at this moment of grief.
