Naga Missionaries converge for conference

Dimapur, October 29 (MExN): The 4th Naga Missionary Conference organized by Nagaland Missions Movement (NMM), missions department of NBCC was held from October 21 to 23 at Sangtam Baptist Church Dimapur under the theme ‘One Missions-One Movement.’

A press release received here stated that the speakers included Rev Prof Akheto Sema, General Secretary, CBCNEI; Rev Dr Zelhou Keyho, General Secretary, NBCC; Khochobeni Odyou, Missionary, Kenya, Africa; Rev Asinlo Khing, Missionary, Siliguri; Rev I Wati, Pastor DABA. 
The resource persons for the workshops were Rev Dr Wati Longkumer, Chairman, Mission Commission, India Mission Coordination Committee; and Advocate Loreign Ovung, Allied Lawyer ADF, India.  Altogether 255 missionaries from India, Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar and around 1000 delegates from churches attended the conference. 
The conference was a great time of coming together for the missionaries and the churches to share, listen and learn from the first hand stories of the missionaries and also to pray for each other, the release stated.
Meanwhile, the speakers reminded the congregation of how privileged Nagas are to have inherited the gospel of Jesus Christ which was actually intended for somebody else. Thus, encouraging and challenging the believers of the seriousness of the Great Commission and our response towards it.
