Naga national restoration & renewal summit from Feb 25

Kohima, February 15 (MExN): Shisha Hoho Prayer Warriors will be organising Naga national restoration and renewal summit from February 25 to 27 at Naga Shisha Hoho Prayer Centre, Prüzie, Kohima.  

The summit will be held under the theme ‘Turn us back to You, O Lord, and we will be restored; Renew our days as of old (Lamentation 5:21),’ a press release from the organizing committee informed on Tuesday. 

The speakers for the programme include Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) Convenor Rev Dr Wati Aier; senior pastor of Chakhesang Baptist Church Minister's Hill Kohima Rev Dr Vevo Phesao; Vice President of Nagaland Christian Forum Rev Dr Neikedozo Paphino; and pastor of Phom Baptist Church Kohima Rev Phomlee Van. 

In the release, Rev Puduhü Khusoh said the summit is being held to bring unity among the Nagas based on the need for restoration and renewal of Nagas as one body. 

Adding that the Nagas have been divided into different parts; he said unless united, Nagas will face difficulties in the coming months. As such, he said that the programme which was pending since last year was aimed at bringing together all the Naga political groups, public leaders, frontal organisations before God to seek forgiveness and hear the calling of God's plan for the Nagas.
