Naga officer inducted into IFS

DIMAPUR, JULY 13 (MExN): Along with 44 officers serving in the Ministry of External Affairs, one Naga officer has been inducted into the Indian Foreign Service. The Naga officer, Aliawati Longkumer, son of Late N.T Longkumer entered service as an Assistant in the Ministry of External Affairs through the Staff Selection Commission. Longkumer, in addition to postings in New Delhi in various capacities has served as Assistant in Doha (Qatar), Attache in the Commission of India, Suva (Fiji) Attache in the Consulate General of India, Frankfurt (Germany) and Second Secretary in the Embassy of India, Guatemala City (Gautemala). He was recently back-posted to New Delhi in March 2016 and is currently serving in the UNP Division in the Ministry of External Affairs.
