Mon, March 20 (DIPR): Mon district Naga Regiment ex- servicemen rally was held at 6th Assam Rifle camp Mon on March 20 organized by 164 inf BN (TA) (H & H) Naga Regiment.
Lt. Colonel 164 BN (TA) Naga Regt., Sanjay Dabas while addressing the Ex- Servicemen and War widows said that there should be no hesitation in voicing of problems being faced with regard to the facilities and entitlements to the Ex- Servicemen and War widows. He said that the Government is always ready to help them in different ways such as banking system, collection of information relating to pension benefit documents and including medical facilities provided by the Government.
On behalf of the Ex- Servicemen, Chingkam Konyak and Nyangpong Konyak, Subedhar Retd. Naga Regiment also spoke in the rally. A brief sharing on Right to Information Act was given by IA Mon, Ronshong Konyak while Chief Manager, SBI, Mon, Bessi Bosco shared on banking system. A free medical check-up and CSD facilities were provided to the gathering with refreshment. The rally was attended by army officer headed by Lt. Colonel, Sanjay Dabas and medical team led by Dr. Singh from Civil Hospital, Mon, Officials from Information & Public Relation, SBI Mon and Ex- Servicemen & war widows.
