Dimapur, August 29 (MExN): The Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) celebrated its 51st Raising Day on August 27 at DBDIL Hall, Don Bosco on August 27.
The programme was chaired by the NWHD vice president, Neilhou Wetsah. Sungsabeni Jamio in her presidential speech addressed the pioneers of NWHD and briefed about the plastic free mission and thanked Moa Sangtam, administrator DMC for collaborating and letting NWHD to adopt and maintain the stretch from plaza point to clock tower.
Vimeno Angami, vice president, gave a preposition where WOW Club was born which stands for women of wonders in which former office Bearers of NWHD shall be a part of it. She also briefed on the ongoing initiative taken up with NOTA (Naga Organic Farmers Association) as associate partners where local farmers will facilitate their products.
Moa Sangtam, DMC Administrator, P. Bangerloba Ao, president, Naga Council Dimapur, who spoke on the occasion acknowledged the efforts being taken up by NWHD and assured full support. Tiala Supu, Hukheli Wotsa and Khrieleno Terhuja, advisors of NWHD also spoke on the occasion.
