Registration for heavyweight, juniors category extended Our Correspondent Kohima | October 15 Naga Wrestle Mania 6 (King Of The Ring Series 2017) which is part of Combat Sports Festival, is scheduled for October 26 to 27 at Kohima Local Ground Khuochiezie, featuring 2 senior categories (lightweight 74 kg & below and heavyweight above 74 kg) and one junior category (14 years and below). The other feature of the Combat Sports Festival is the Yoddha Fighting Championship (a Mixed Martial Arts promotion event) scheduled on October 28. YoddhaFC will showcase between 6 to 10 fights, some of which will be amateur title fights and a few pro fights. In regard to the event, the following notifications are issued - Meanwhile, 3E Nagaland today informed that registration for Naga Wrestle Mania 6 has been extended for Heavyweights (above 74 kg) and Juniors (14 years & below) till 21st October. Registration is closed for lightweight category w.e.f. 14th October and will not be further extended. Final weight measurement for Lightweight & Heavyweight and scrutiny for Juniors will be done on 23rd & 24th October. All registered wrestlers must be physically present for the same at 3E office Kohima between 10:00 am and 4 pm. Cash prizes Naga Wrestle Mania 6 will be as follows - LIGHTWEIGHT AND HEAVYWEIGHT CATEGORIES Champion - 50000 + Belt Runner up - 30000 Semi finalists - 10000 each JUNIOR CATEGORY Champion - 10000 + Belt Runner up - 5000 Semi finalists - 2000 each KING OF THE RING CHAMPIONSHIP Champion - 120000 + Belt Runner up - 60000 Semi finalists - 30000 each Stalls for food, merchandise, etc. will be allotted on first-come-first-served basis.
