Joy Sutradhar and Vezotolu Shijoh were crowned the Nagaland Mr & Miss Mega Model Hunt 2022- Season 2 respectively during the grand finale held on June 25 under the aegis of Nagaland Mega Entertainment at Regional Centre of Excellence for Music & Performing Arts, Jotsoma. Sangbolong Jamir and Ngamshong Sosolu bagged first and second runner up respectively in male category while Lumvila Sangtam and L Chuom Phom declared 1st and 2nd runners up respectively in female category. A prayer programme was held at DABA Duncan Fellowship premise from 6:30 am to 7:30 am on June 25. This prayer programme was called by Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM.  “Last year in the month of November, God gave him a vision to go to open places and pray for our land and the people. He has organised such programmes within this year in several strategic places, praying for forgiveness, healing of our land, and asking God to bless the people of Nagaland,” Temsu Jamir, President, Dimapur Area Ao Baptist Churches Pastors’ Fellowship stated in a press release. The prayer was attended by all the church workers from the Ao churches in Dimapur and Chumoukedima area. 

Lily Franky, thrift, vintage and pop store was inaugurated on June 24. The store is located at SAPPJO beauty & wellness, Duncan Basti, Opposite The Morung Express. 

Director of Rural Development, Liboni Humtsoe inaugurated newly built Customary Court House at Pongidong village under RD Block Wozhuro, Wokha.
