Baptist Theological College (BTC), Pfutsero and Shalom Bible Seminary (SBS), Zubza came together through a Sports Fellowship held on 11th November 2023 at BTC. This event was organised to celebrate and strengthen the friendship between the two colleges.

 

Six Wonders Shuttlers organised the 1st Amateur Badminton Championship in Men's doubles category on November 10 and 11 at Chungaizaeng Rongmei Colony, Burma Camp. First day of the tournament was graced by Dr Yanbemo Ovung, Sr Associate Pastor, Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur). All together 26 teams participated in the tournament where Bikha and Sandip bagged as Champion with Rs 12000(cash prize), Runner up Tokito and Hukivi with cash prize of Rs 8000 where as Wapang and Tenshi, Atoka and Vipu were the semifinalist with Rs 2000 each. The All Assam State Ranking Tennis Tournament organised by the Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) (Tennis Wing) got underway at NFRSA Lawn Tennis Complex, Maligaon, Guwahati on November 13. The sporting event was inaugurated by General Secretary/NFRSA & Chief Personnel Officer/Industrial Relation of NF Railway, Sasanka Sarmah, in presence of other officials of NFRSA. The tournament will consist of event category as under-10, 12, 14 & 18 years group for both boys and girls, Men’s Double, Veteran Men’s Double (above 45 years) and Mixed Double (Open). Around 200 players from all over Assam and five officials are participating in the event. The tournament will be concluded on November 17.
