Our Correspondent Kohima | November 10 Altogether, 11,160 candidates today appeared for Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) preliminary examination for NCS, NPS, NSS & Allied Services held across 24 exam centres in the state. NPSC chairman T.S. Angami told The Morung Express that a total of 12,867 registered for the exam in which 11, 160 appeared while 1,707 candidates were absent. NPSC chairman said that the exam was conducted peacefully and professionally, adding that each exam centre was supervised by NPSC members. The chairman said the Commission will take around 2 months to declare the result. The candidates appeared the exam for a total of 62 posts. EAC- 15, Employment Officer- 1, APRO- 1, Excise Inspector- 4, SA- 40 and Information Assistant- 1. The exam was held across 24 centres with 12 in Kohima, Dimapur- 8, Mokokchung- 2 and one each at Mon and Tuensang.
