Nagaland: 112 new cases, tally at 9750

Dimapur, November 14 (MExN): Nagaland detected a total of 112 new COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday out of which 109 cases were from Dimapur district alone.

Kohima two new cases while and Mon reported one new cases as on 3:00 pm on November 14. 

Out of the new cases, 70 (Dimapur-67, Kohima-2, Mon-1) were from traced contacts, 36 were returnees/travelers from Dimapur, 5 armed forces/security personnel in Dimapur while one case was a frontline worker in Dimapur.

A total of 30 persons who were had tested positive for COVID-19 in Dimapur were said to have recovered in the last 24 hours.

This takes the total number of infections in the state to 9,750 with 805 active cases and 8,794 cases of patients who have recovered from COVID-19.

As per the severity of symptoms 757 active cases are asymptomatic, 21 active cases are mild, 12 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 10 active cases are severe on oxygen, 3 active cases are critical without oxygen and 2 active cases are on ventilator.

The total number of COVID-19 fatalities in the state now stands at 46, excluding 6 deaths that are ‘not COVID related’ and two other deaths that are currently under investigation by the state death review committee. A total of 97 active cases have migrated from the state.
