Till date, 1268 village are not covered by veterinary dispensary in Nagaland. So far, 58 village have been covered by veterinary dispensary, according to state database on Village Level Development Indicators as on 31-03- 2016 brought out by Directorate of Economics & Statistics, Nagaland.
On health care amenities, 832 villages are yet to be covered by dispensary/sub centre. So far, 494 villages are covered under this.
In term of Primary Health Centre, 170 villages have been covered while 1156 are yet to be covered.
52 villages are covered under Community Health Centre whereas 1274 yet to be covered.
Hospitals are connected to 18 while 1308 are yet to be covered.
The report also stated that Anganwadi Center is spread to around 1259 villagers (94.94%) in the state.
Some of the most availing basic amenities in the state are electricity, road, telephone service, Govt. primary school and Anganwadi Center.
The least availing basic amenities in the state are veterinary dispensary hospital, hospital, community health centre and higher secondary.
