DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 4 (MExN): Thirteen teachers from Nagaland have received the State Teachers Awards on the occasion of Teachers’ Day on September 4.
Advisor for School Education, KT Sukhalu while congratulating the awardees, said that the COVID-19 pandemic has ushered in many challenges “but we must seek out opportunities to learn new things and adapt to new circumstances.”
“It has changed the way we live, think and work; these changes are most palpable in the field of education. Education has always been at the forefront of innovation and knowledge, this pandemic has served to highlight this even more,” he added.
Sukhalu further stated that if the spread of COVID-19 can be stalled by the simple task of 20 seconds of hand washing and wearing masks, “then we can stop the spread of ignorance by the simple task of giving our time and effort to the task of spreading knowledge to society through our schools.”
