DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 25 (MExN): 38 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in Nagaland out of 596 results received on September 25. The Health Department informed that of the new cases, 24 are in Dimapur, 12 in Kohima and 1 each in Mon and Wokha. Meanwhile, the State also reported 95 recoveries. The recoveries include 56 from Kohima, 34 from Dimapur, 3 from Peren and 2 from Kiphire. The total number of positive cases in the State as of Friday stands at 5,786 while the number of active cases is 1,083. Meanwhile, 4637 people have recovered so far and 11 deaths have been confirmed. Of the cases on September 25, 13 are from the armed forces/security personnel, 2 are returnees/travelers and 23 are traced contacts.
