Nagaland: 44 new cases, total COVID-19 caseload reaches 11,159

Dimapur, November 29 (MExN): With 44 new COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, the total number of cases in the State went up to 11,159.

According to an update from State Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, out of the 44 new cases, Dimapur had 27 cases while Kohima had 16 and one case was from Tuensang.

The Minister also informed that 174 recoveries were registered on November 29 with 140 in Dimapur, 30 in Kohima, 3 in Tuensang and 1 in Phek.

According to the COVID-19 bulletin issued by the State Health and family Welfare department, there are 1087 active COVID-19 cases, while recovery stands at 9898. The death toll in the State is 57; with seven more deaths categorized as ‘not COVID-related’ while 3 deaths are currently under investigation.
