Dimapur, October 7 (MExN): 53 fresh cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nagaland on Wednesday.
With 37 in Dimapur, 8 in Kohima, 6 in Peren and one each in Mokokchung and Phek, the tally of COVID-19 cases in the State was 6715 as on October 7.
According to an update from State Health Minister S Pangnyu Phom, 36 patients were discharged on Wednesday. The total recovery in the State was 5444 and the total active cases were 1142 according to the COVID-19 bulletin issued by the State Health and Family Welfare department.
Meanwhile, the State has also reported 12 deaths till date, while 6 more deaths are under investigation.
5 deaths have been categorized as ‘not COVID related’.
