Zunheboto, November 15 (MExN): The Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission, Government of Nagaland, in collaboration with TRIFED, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GOI, organised a launching programme of Hebolimi VDVK-cum-Distribution of Machineries and Tools at Hebolimi Village in Zunheboto on November 13.
Obed Quinker, Chairman NBHM, graced the event as the special guest where he emphasized that the VDVK scheme was specifically designed for tribal farmers. He encouraged the gathering to take advantage of the government's initiatives, stating, "When government agencies come to you at the grassroots level, it's your duty to grab the opportunity and transform your social, economic, and overall lifestyle.
Kuputo Shohe, Chairman, NSMDC, gracing the programme as guest of honour emphasized unity and collective growth, noting that the initiative reflected the principle of “working together and growing together.”
The programme was also graced by Vikheho Y Swu, former MLA, who also encouraged the public particularly the various SHGs under VDVK to embrace this opportunity and move “towards economic excellence,” aligning with global progress.
Inaho Shohe, Chairman, Hebolimi VDVK expressed gratitude to the Nagaland Beekeeping and Honey Mission (NBHM) and the TRIFED for providing the tool kits and machineries which in turn will enhance their livelihood opportunities.
