Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj extends Chhath Puja greetings

Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): On the occasion of Chhath Puja, the Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj (NBS) has extended greetings and best wishes to all devotees and well-wishers. “As we come together to worship the Sun God and Chhath Maiya, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and unity of our Bhojpuri culture and traditions, carried forward with great devotion across generations and geographies,” Pramod Singh, President, NBS stated in a press note.

Chhath Puja is a festival of immense significance, marked by purity, discipline, and selfless devotion. It teaches us gratitude and the power of faith as we offer our humble prayers to the setting and rising Sun, seeking blessings for a life filled with health, happiness, and harmony. This is a time when families and communities unite in reverence, underscoring the importance of togetherness and shared cultural heritage.

Chhath Puja celebrations will begin on November 5 with Nahai Khai and end on November 8 paying obeisance to the rising sun.

“May this Chhath Puja bring immense joy, peace, and prosperity into the lives of everyone celebrating. May Chhath Maiya bless everyone with the strength to overcome challenges, the wisdom to make the right decisions, and the courage to pursue our dreams. May the blessings of the Sun God fill every home with warmth, happiness, and success,” the NBS conveyed.
“Let us celebrate with devotion, positivity, and gratitude, keeping alive the spirit of Chhath wherever we are. Wishing all a blessed, peaceful, and joyous Chhath Puja!” it added.
