Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj lauds govt's 'helping hand'

Dimapur, May 24 (MExN): Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj, Dimapur, on Sunday expressed gratitude to the Government of Nagaland, Dimapur Police and district administrative authorities “for their yeomen service and immense help in sending 1600 stranded Bihari workers who had gathered at Dimapur from the length and breadth of the state.”

“We are greatly overwhelmed by the extra miles they took to provide the workers with food and water, screening all of them, providing them with their journey tickets and finally putting them on board with food packets and water bottles for their onward journey,” the Samaj stated in a press release.

It also thanked all other organisations “who in any manner have lent a helping hand in this great human crisis.”
