Nagaland State’s BJP today announced several packages and activities to mark the forthcoming Sewa Saptah (Service Week) from September 14 to 20 in celebration of 70th birthday (17 September) of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Announcing this through press conference here today, Nagaland state BJP secretary Lanuakum. O said that the weeklong Sewa Saptah will be marked by presentation of artificial limbs and other equipments to 70 differently abled persons in every mandal (Constituency), presentation of spectacles to 70 poor brothers and sisters as per need, distribution of fruits in 70 hospitals and poor colonies in accordance with the guidelines of COVID-19.
He said the BJYM (BJP Youth Wing) will also organize atleast one blood donation camp in every district with 70 blood donors each.
There will also be plantation of tree saplings in every booth (polling station locality) and to take the pledge for environment conservation.
Cleanliness drive will be organized in 70 villages of every district and pledge to get rid of single use plastic and thereby connecting people to the clarion call of Prime Minister in this regard.
It will also undertake cleanliness drive in 70 public places in each and every district headquarter.
The occasion will also witness 70 virtual conferences on the life and mission of the Prime Minister through webinars.
Pt. Deendayal ji Jayanti
The programmes regarding the life and mission of Pt. Deendayal Ji will also be organized on September 25 through webinars in every district following the protocol of COVID-19.
Gandhi Jayanti
There will also be campaign from September 25 to October 2 on 'Atama Nirbhar Bharat' through various interactive programmes and webinars following the protocol of COVID-19.
It will encourage the use of khadi in daily life and also the local products.
Effective campaign upto the booth level is to be organized to take down the Rs 20 lakh crore Atma Nirbhar Bharat package announced by Prime Minister to the common masses “so that they are apprised and benefited from this scheme.”
