Nagaland BJP constitutes committee to assist stranded Nagas

Kohima, March 2 (MExN): The Bharatiya Janata Party Nagaland State Unit has constituted a committee to assist and help Naga students who are still stranded in Ukraine, as per Central directive.

According to a communiqué from the State Media Cell on Wednesday, the party will extend all possible help and support to those Naga students through helplines, and the information collected therein, from the State will be incorporated and forwarded to Central leaders for further necessary action, with utmost priority.

In this connection, the BJP Nagaland State Unit appealed to the family members of stranded Naga students, to contact the numbers for any help or assistance: Subenthung (Convenor)- 8787321545; Thsangse- 8787839217; Kavili – 8257959410; and Eduzu - 9436000400.

The communiqué also stated that the Central Government in its effort to bring back the stranded Indian nationals from the war torn country of Ukraine, has formed a 'Special Task Force' of Ministers to evacuate Indians through 'Operation Ganga'. So far, hundreds of students were already evacuated from Ukraine, and others are in process for evacuation at the earliest possible time, it added.
