Kohima, November 3 (MExN): Nagaland state BJP president Benjamin Yepthomi is undertaking intensive district tour as part of his first official tour.

After visiting Mon from October 28 to 31, he reached Aboi on November 2. He was accorded a warm reception by the people of Aboi in Chen area Morung( Paan).

The president had also conducted another meeting with Aboi BJP party office bearers, Mandal presidents, Morchas  and Booth Level Committee members at Aboi  Organisation District Office.

In his address, Yepthomi focused widely on reaching out to the grassroot people and strengthening the  Booth Level so as to propagate the welfare programs & schemes of BJP, and also, the mega developmental policies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s "Act East Policy'.

He reached Longleng on November 3. He was hosted by former minister S. Pangnyu Phom in a public reception at his residence in Longleng town.

Yepthomi held a series of meetings with the District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents, Morchas and Booth Level officials and had also interacted with the public.

From Longleng, the president and his entourage are expected to move to Tuensang where they are scheduled to stay for two days.

The state president is on a mission to connect with the grassroot people and to rekindle the bonds of friendship so as to strengthen BJP in Nagaland state at all level, according to Media Officer.
