Nagaland BJP unit resolute in strengthening PDA

Kohima, March 9 (MExN): The Nagaland State BJP Unit is resolute in strengthening the PDA with a strong conviction to complete the full term of the alliance government. In a press communique issued by Kuputo Shohe, Chief spokesperson BJP Nagaland, it said that since the 1st day of the formation of the PDA government, “rumors have been spread that the PDA alliance would not last even for few months, but the PDA have withstood to complete a full year un-fluttered.”


It also congratulated the PDA Government for its successful completion of one year and further extended “fullest support for a good governance for the welfare of the people.” The release said it endorsed the leadership of the PDA alliance for cohesive leadership, while “appreciating the co-partner alliance ushering with the BJP collectively in all the political issues.”


In connection with the purported move of the NPF Legislators to tie up with the NDPP, the “stand of the BJP is made clear in commitment towards our pre-poll alliance partner,” the release added. 


The BJP Nagaland also acknowledged the political maturity and statesmanship shown by the NDPP under Chief Ministeri Neiphiu Rio and the NDPP led by the President Chingwang Konyak.


The Nagaland State BJP Unit President Temjen Mina Along and his office bearers further endorsed the leadership of the BLP leader Y Patton, Deputy Chief Minister and his colleagues of the BJP Legislators to take the right decision collectively in case of any untoward scenario of the PDA government. 


It affirmed their support to the PDA government “to insure that a stable government is in place” for an all round development to the state. “The PDA cannot be affected by the desperate moves of any political party or individual in attempting to disrupt the firm alliance in a desperate move,” it maintained.
