Dimapur, December 7 (MExN): The Chümoukedima Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association (CCCTA) on Monday reiterated that any form of ‘donation and fund drive’ would not be entertained within its jurisdiction.
In a press release, the association stated that it has been receiving “several complaints against rampant donation and fund drive from the business community by NPGs, unions, organisations or individuals.”
It called upon all responsible citizens to understand the problems and hardships faced by the business community during the pandemic year and allow them to function smoothly especially during the festive season.
It also reminded the shops and markets to strictly adhere to the SOPs and COVID-19 safety guidelines and requested all the shops to be cleaned and decorated before December 10.
