Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Longleng under ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Nagaland centre organized and celebrated World Soil Day on December 5 at KVK Longleng office premises. Technical Officer, R Yuimi presided the function, introduction and welcome speech was delivered by Dr Lily Ngullie, ACTO (Animal science), keynote address about importance of soil health card, soil test based nutrient recommendation and its utilization was deliberated by A. Namei. All together 32 participants from six different villages attended the programme along with KVK Official. Soil Health Card was distributed to 56 farmers during the programme.
