
Kohima, October 28 (MExN): The Election Commission of India has announced for Special Summary Revision 2021-2022 starting from November 1 to 30 with January 1, 2022 as the qualifying date.
In this regard, the Nagaland Chief Electoral Officer, V Shashank Shehar, IAS in a press release said that on November 1, the Electoral Registration Officer of every district will publish the draft Electoral Roll by issuing a public notice of draft publication in Form 5 (Annexure 6) under Rule 10 of Registration of Electoral Rules 1960.
“This notice will be available for inspection in all the designated Polling Stations located in Nagaland. It will also be available at Chief Electoral Officer’s website ceo.nagaland.gov.in.” the CEO stated.
Respective DEOs (District Election Officer) will convene a meeting with recognized political parties and copies of Draft Electoral Roll will be handed over to them, he added.
