Kohima, July 3 (MExN): Nagaland Chess Association (NCA) today inked a milestone with the inauguration of its office and official website here in the state capital Kohima.
It was formally inaugurated by Helie Rupreo, former president NCA and Retd Director, Agriculture Nagaland. NCA office is located at Lower Chandmari, below Government Printing Press.
Rupreo was optimistic that NCA will move forward and function efficiently through the launching of its official website and office. Further, Rupreo thanked all the pioneers of NCA, well wishers and the present NCA team led by Neiba Kronu (Minister for planning & coordination, land revenue and parliamentary affairs) as president, for their relentless efforts and commitment to promote chess in Nagaland.
NCA joint secretary Vekukho Soho chaired the function.
NCA is the apex administrative chess association of the state of Nagaland. It was formed in 1989. The Association is affiliated to Nagaland Olympic Association, All India Chess Federation, and officially accredited by Federation Internationale des Échecs, (FIDE).
